Holy Curiosity: Exploring the Questions of the Bible

May 28th, from 1 PM to 2 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Why would an all-knowing God ask questions?

Why did Jesus ask so many questions in the Gospels?

And when he was asked many questions, why did Jesus answer so few of them?

What can we learn from a God who gives us permission to ask raw and honest questions?

The Bible is often described as the Answer Book. But there is a surprisingly large number of questions found in it. Lots of people ask lots of questions in the Bible. But God asks a lot of questions – and so does Jesus. For many of us, we study Jesus’ parables, his teachings, his miracles, and his healings. But we don’t often study his questions – why he asked, what he asked, where he asked, who he asked, and how he asked them. J.R. Briggs has spent years studying the questions Jesus asked – and he wants to share what he’s learned and the implications it has for our lives.
